Hotel Zugspitze - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

This gorgeous hotel exceeded my expectations! The breakfast buffet was a good spread, and the half-board dinner menu was amazing. I also loved the cozy spa atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after hikes!

Tastefully decorated and neat rooms with separate bathrooms and an electric kettle and glassware. Smart and amiable staff members, excellent location short walk to Zugspitz, the pedestrian area in garmisch and the pedestrian zone...

Good quality hotel, we loved this place.

we recommend it. had a brilliant stay with our family members, we spent 2 nights here, everything was really good. lots of food for breakfast, everything was outstanding.

Great bed, large bathroom and a couch and a lounge in the room. The fantastic view to mountain from its windows.

WiFi is very slow.

The staff was very helpful. They had two ipad for use in lobby along with another computer and free wifi. Very nice touch and breakfast was nice every morning. This hotel was the best we stayed while in Germany. Great location. One afternoon they even loaded two bikes for use at no charge. The pool and spa was a nice surprise too. My son and high school son enjoyed all they offer.

Room with a view and great service!

I had a really comfy stay! The room was huge and the balcony view was just killer. The staff were super chill, and they surprised me by dropping my bags in my room while I was out. The free coffee in the room was a nice touch, but the Wi-Fi kept dropping out. Solid experience.

Location was wonderful, with the distance from Munich reasonable. External view of the hotel was very nice.

Bathroom too dark and cramped.

The view of the Alps was amazing from the room. Location was close to train station and central to lots of shopping and restaurants.

Hotel was a bit pricey in general for what it was. But I think that comes from being a ski resort destination. Restaurants in the area were a bit over-priced as well.

excellent stay but minor comfort issues

The mountain views from our room were amazing! We enjoyed the luxurious spa-like bathroom. The staff's attention to detail and kindness enhanced our experience.

The pillows could have been firmer for better sleep.

Wonderful friendly staff; Great location in town and walkable to Bahnhof; Bikes can be rented directly from hotel; Excellent breakfast; Nice rooms and lovely view of the mountains; Spa and sauna facilities awesome though jacuzzi was cold; Lecker lebkuchen in the lobby :)

The cleanliness of the rooms and the gorgeous views from windows/private balcony.

Fairly clean place with magnificent view of the mountains. Thanks to the smart staff everything was terrific, including a lot ofexcellent food. Nicely decorated, neat room with a separate bathroom and a shower, hair dryers and robes. Beds were extremely comfy and the breakfast was delicious. Location short walk to many Bavarian restaurants where larger is the norm, center of town and the train to the top of Germany.

All the staff we met were very courteous and helpful. The service in the restaurant was very good as was the quality of the food and the number of choices was perfectly acceptable. Close to the town centre the location could not have been better. For anybody visiting the hotel for the first time copy down the location instructions as Garmish is not that easy to navigate around.
